BASF Brings Chip Materials Closer to China’s Manufacturers

BASF signed an investment agreement on 3 November for a new electronic materials plant in Nanjing, China. The facility will supply materials used to make semiconductors, giving chip manufacturers in China a local source backed by BASF’s existing technical team in the city. The company expects production to begin by the end of 2028.
